April - Over this past month we have made many trips to the Botanical Gardens of Georgia. Each time more and different colors were on God's display. Here is a sampling.

Shellie took all these photos, and posted without doing any photo-shopping!
On July 20th, 2007 the Smith Family (Steve, Shellie, Deron, Jasen, Prestin and Purlie) arrived in the USA. Two years later in 2009, we have stepped into a new season of adventure, an expedition with God. This blog chronicles that safari!
Deron, Luna, Matt and Marcus ready to face their day of challenges. The Tough Mudder ended up being closer to 14 miles and 22 obstacles, which included such things as crawling through ice filled tunnels, climbing over a series of walls, scaling up muddy hills and through ponds and streams, sprawling under barbed wire, running through a mud field with hanging wires carrying 10,000 volts of electricity, carrying a log down a hill, working across a huge monkey bar, running through a field of fire and jumping off a 15 foot platform into muddy water to swim to the other side. They were clean and smiling at the "butt crack of dawn" (as they say in the South).
This guy sprayed people down with a fire hose as they climbed this muddy hill.
Climbing over muddy pond via a rope bridge.
Helping each other up a slippery steep muddy hill.By the way, it took like three washings to get the mud out of their clothes (let alone their hair and other parts of their body). And would you believe they can't wait to do it again next year!!!
