A white Christmas afterall!

December 25 - It was around 8pm when we first noticed these white fluffy things falling from the sky. It then continued snowing in Athens until around noon the next day. From what we heard, this was the first time it has snowed in Athens on Christmas for 130 years!

Christmas Day

December 25 - We had an unusual Christmas celebration this year, which I suppose is very usual! With Deron working nights and last night was one of them, we got to our Christmas stockings around 2pm, but didn't actually do our family Christmas until the next night (26th). Here's Steve and Purlie waiting for the boys to get up. This was probably around noon. Yeah, go Jasen!
Steve passing the stocking to Deron!
Steve's turn! Notice the Lindt white chocolate coconut bar... Yummy!
Even Purlie didn't miss out!
Shellie with hers!
Prestin checking out the non-alcoholic Bailey's flavored chocolates!
Whatever..., I think Steve is blowing in Purlie's face, something she actually really loves!
After playing one round of LCR (Left Center Right) it was determined that Prestin got to open the one family gift!
It's a sandwich press. Guess what we had for our Christmas meal...

December 20 - A huge moon on the rise. This is looking through the trees at the Vande's home. Little did we know that the moon was going to go through a radical transformation later in the night!December 21 - Around 2:30am Deron woke us up letting us know there was a full lunar eclipse going on. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Next time that it will occur on the winter solstice in 2094.
These are unphoto-shopped pictures. In fact it was actually more eery than these show!
"And the whole moon turned blood red" (Revelation 6:12).
