Shellie's adventures in California

November 3-7 - Shellie was blessed with a five day trip to California. This was the first break away from her care-giving responsibilities for quite a way. We missed her VERY MUCH, but it was good for her to be with such beloved friends! Shellie left Georgia with temps in the low 50's and rain to arrive in sunny Southern California in the upper 90's! Here's her story...

I was soo blessed to see so many women loving and encouraging each other in the Lord!

After Momtourage a couple of us met at In-N-Out... here's Kamy and her little guys!

After In-N-Out we discovered Scott & Jenny's stuff had arrived from Georgia so Sue and I headed over there to help unload and pack it into the storage unit... it was a VERY hot day, 102 (quite a contrast to when we loaded the truck on the east coast in the rain)!

Finished and it all fit!!! Prest, Scott was really wishing you were there to help, you are the expert organizer/packer for sure!

Remember I said it was hot.... it was VERY hot! But in the midst of it all we were still able to smile and give each other a sweaty hug... Driving home to the William's home... though hot, it was a beautiful day!

Thai Pan... our favorite shop! We had a blast in this shop dreaming of all the things we would love to buy for people.

We stopped to "absorb" the moment... just needed a cuppa and it would have been perfect!

Don't tell anyone but we hi-jacked Abbey and brought her with us... we just couldn't bear to leave her out!

Sat. morning at 6:30... Andria, Heather and I watched the sunrise...

Then we ran off to the Corner Bakery at Victoria Gardens for breaky and catch-up! Jen and me... Next, got ready for Joel and Becky Murdock's baby shower at Flipside...

Everything was decorated so cutely... animal prints were everywhere!
