September 3 - What started out as simply taking out a couple dead trees on the land next to our house, became five hour job. The first four hours was spent cleaning the area of vines that had sharp fangs (thorns) and Kudzu, a noxious fast growing vine (Kudzu can literally grow up to a foot per day in the summer). The last hour we finally got to the dead trees. And of course instead of using the typical weapon of the South (the chain saw), we used an old fashion destroyer... the mighty axe!
