Flipside's Ladies Christmas Tea

December 14 - After our first day of loading the moving container Shellie cleaned up and went to Flipside's Christmas Tea, which actually was a night for the ladies to honor & bless her. She spoke (and was awesome!!!) and then the ladies waited in a line for two hours just to hug her and say good bye. There were lots of tears shed. Moving Days

December 14-16 - Our moving containers which were supposed to arrive on Friday morning didn't how up until Monday afetrnoon. This made our last three day in California very intense. We were able to load our things for the storage unit in just four hours. Deron helped all afternoon, then ran off to take his final exam in Physics. What a champ!!! Prestin artistically loaded the container.
Jeff graciously came and helped out for a few hours!!! Thanks so much Jeff!

It's like putting a puzzle together. But not as fun because we had to get it done to be picked up before dark!

Last pieces
Lots of dust accumulates over a couple of years in storage.Sorry Prestin, we can't get anything else in it!We had it loaded and gone before 5pm.On Tuesday it took Prestin & Steve all day to load the first container at our home!

On Wednesday we faced an impossible task... but nothing is impossible with God! There is no way we could have loaded this container without help and get it done in time for our departure. But God sent some freinds and for a few hours Kevin & Andria and Abel & Nadia (and their kids) truly saved the day!!! Thank you so much guys!!!

In the end it all came together! God did work a miracle and He used His servants! Isn't that how He usually does it? He chooses to use you and me to be His hands and feet to love on others in this world!!!

Commissioning

December 13 - We were totally loved on and blessed at Flipside as we were prayed for and sent out as missionaries!!! Here is from the 9:15am gathering.Kev would say a few very nice things about us and then Steve shared a bit of what God was calling us to do & be in Georgia. 11am gathering

Our Un-garage Sale

December 12 - So they say it never rains in Southern California?! Well the skies opened up with much needed rain, making it a beautiful December morning, but not good for a moving sale. The ladies from Shellie's Mugs & Muffins group were coming over to help with the sale, but instead enjoyed a morning tea together and a sweet time of fellowship. Oh yea, the buyers also had their walk-through and several other Flipsidians came to hang out and say good bye! It was a busy and beautiful morning!!! Jasen chillin' with "It's A Wonderful Life"
