December 17 - Our last night in California was spent on the floor in sleeping bags in an otherwise empty house. All our things were in the shipping containers. Here Jasen ia getting ready for sleep and departing on a wild adventure to a new home (somewhere eastward). 
Purlie is not phased at all! In fact she is enjoying the comfy sleeping bag!
First night is over, Prestin survived and is packing up his bag.
